A writing studio for books that run to hundreds of chapters.
LoreClerk is for web serials and long novels. You write. It keeps track of everything you’ve written, catches the mistakes readers love to point out, and helps with the next chapter when you ask.
Why it exists
Long serials go wrong in the same quiet ways. A character who died in chapter 12 speaks in chapter 87. A skill is used twice inside its cooldown. A mystery planted in chapter 3 is never paid off. Nobody remembers three hundred chapters, not even the author. Readers notice anyway.
Most writing tools stop at the page. The rest lives in a spreadsheet, a wiki and your memory, and falls behind the week you get busy. LoreClerk keeps that record for you, dated by chapter, and checks each new chapter against it.
AI helps where it saves you time: a draft when you’re stuck, a suggested fix, a careful read for mistakes. It never writes into your book without your say, and you can turn AI writing off and keep everything else.
What we hold to
- You write. It keeps track. The words and the choices are yours. LoreClerk keeps the record and points at problems; you decide what changes.
- Every flag shows its sourceA flag is never just “something feels off”. It quotes the earlier line it conflicts with, so you can judge it at a glance.
- Honest about limitsThe checks catch a lot, not everything. We say how we test them and what they still miss.
- Your work stays yoursWe don’t train AI on your writing. Export everything at any time, or delete it.
